The interiors have been carefully and elegantly designed, with a sense of space everywhere and cool neutral tones set off by Balinese style oriental furniture and artwork. The large living room is flooded with natural light and has an open fireplace, a comfort in the low season months and a cool retreat during the heat of summer. The kitchen, modern and fully equipped, mixes natural wood with whitewashed walls and serves the adjoining dining room, which opens onto a beautiful terrace. All 4 bedrooms have private bathrooms and are decorated to the same standard, with plenty of natural light and bathrooms that are modern and generous. Outside, the elegant rectangular pool takes the centre, ringed by wide sun loungers, with a Balinese day bed for shade, the barbecue and a dedicated outdoor dining area made for long lunches or for cocktails under a canopy of stars.
The centre of the island
Santa Gertrudis is the meeting point of inland Ibiza, with its square, its terraces and its village life, only minutes from the house. Ibiza town, with its dazzling range of restaurants and dancing, is also close by. The villa holds a touristic rental licence and is let by the week, at a rate that changes with the month, from March to October inclusive.
