Can Maria at Sa Carroca
A villa for rent in the hills of Sant Jordi and Sa Carroca, in the municipality of Sant Josep de sa Talaia, a five minute drive from the centre of Ibiza town, with a pool, sea views and a games room like few others. Can Maria is a country finca dating from 1790, renovated with every 21st century comfort while keeping its rustic Ibizan spirit intact. The house covers 800 m2 built on private land of 20,000 m2 and is in good condition, with its energy certificate in process. The wide garden, the outdoor pool, the solarium, the porch and the barbecue terrace form the axis of life outdoors.
Living, playing, cooking
The villa offers 6 double bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, along with a kitchen, a sitting room, a laundry and a pantry. The sitting area gathers sofas, a fireplace and a 40 inch SmartTV with an internet connection in every room, while the lounge has a home cinema with surround sound and bluetooth, and the dining room has a fireplace of its own. The kitchen is fitted with an oven, a ceramic hob, a microwave, a large toaster, a juicer, an espresso machine, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a dryer. The games room deserves a chapter of its own: billiards, table football, pinball, darts, a poker table, a casino roulette table and arcade machines carrying more than 600 classic video games from the eighties and nineties. There is free wifi with repeaters in every room, and outside a basketball hoop and a trampoline for the children. The two long dining tables, one indoors and one out, seat 12 people.
Sant Jordi and the beaches
The finca sits in a very quiet residential neighbourhood, 1 km from several supermarkets including Mercadona, less than a 10 minute drive from Playa d'en Bossa and Salinas beach and 7 minutes from Ibiza airport. Es Cavallet and Cala Jondal are close as well, as are the best known clubs on the island, among them Ushuaïa, Pacha, Blue Marlin and Amnesia. The villa is only available to rent in August, and from June to September it includes a free cleaning service.
