Villa Meghan and its guest house
Villa Meghan is a villa for rent near the south east coast, in Sant Josep, in the municipality of Sant Josep de sa Talaia, with 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and views over the Mediterranean, Playa d'en Bossa, Cap des Falco and the Las Salinas salt flats. The house sits on a vast expanse of private land, with room to spare on every side. It is elegantly furnished, with a sophisticated and luxurious scheme that creates an almost palatial atmosphere. The main living room plays cool white walls against polished concrete floors, warmed by soft, welcoming pieces. The contemporary kitchen is fully fitted with modern appliances, and the formal dining room looks out over a calm hacienda style courtyard.
The main house and the annexe
The property divides between the main house and a separate guest house: four pristine bedrooms in the first, each with a luxurious private bathroom, and two large bedrooms in the second. That arrangement lets two families or a large group share the villa without anyone giving up their privacy. There is also a light filled gym, equipped with a wide range of exercise machines. The interiors keep the same standard from room to room, with good materials and restrained decoration. The result reads as a polished country house, more serene than showy.
Outdoors and surroundings
Outside, white terraces frame a freshwater pool with soft seating for long mornings. Beyond the pool terrace, fragrant gardens full of palms, generous lawn and shaded patios offer other places to retreat to. On the upper terrace, closer to the house, guests dine outdoors with a barbecue and the sea view behind them. Playa d'en Bossa, Es Cavallet and the salt flats are all in sight from the property, in the liveliest part of the south of the island. The villa is offered as a holiday rental and holds a touristic rental licence; the energy certificate is in process. It comes fully furnished and equipped, in excellent condition.
