Villa Margo above Ses Salines
Villa Margo is an elegant villa for rent in Sant Josep, in the municipality of Sant Josep de sa Talaia, with 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms and elevated panoramic views over the Mediterranean, the Ses Salines nature park and Formentera. The property is arranged as two separate dwellings set within 30.000 m2 of private land, among lush gardens and terraces. The country house itself is a traditional finca of 200 years, immaculately restored, and its interiors mix contemporary and traditional finishes. A lateral plan and sensitive partitions create a natural flow between rooms that are bathed in daylight. The house stands on its own, which gives it a degree of privacy that is rare in the south of the island.
The main house and the suite
The main house holds a modern fully equipped kitchen and a large sunlit living room with generous sofas, a billiard table and its own bar. The club and chill lounge works as a second sitting room, with television, billiards, table football and a modern dining room for private dinners. Within it is a club fitted with the latest music technology, a DJ booth and lighting, whose use requires permission and is kept for special occasions. The master suite occupies a separate casita of 300 m2 at the top of the hill, with an enormous round bed, an opulent en suite bathroom, a sofa area and a private south facing terrace raised above the infinity pool, taking in one of the most beautiful views on the island; a separate massage room sits right beside it. Gardens and surroundings
The gardens wrap around a magnificent infinity pool, with green lawns, tall palms, aromatic planting, wide terraces and shaded dining areas. A quiet meditation corner is tucked among them, and the whole composition faces south towards Formentera and the nature park, with excellent light at every hour of the day. The house is a few kilometres from the airport and from some of the loveliest beaches on the island, such as Salinas with its many famous beach clubs and the charming Es Cavallet. The villa is offered as a holiday rental and holds a touristic rental licence; the energy certificate is in process. It comes fully furnished and equipped, in excellent condition.
