Traditional country house for rent in Sant Carles, in the municipality of Santa Eulària des Riu, with 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and 65,000 m² of olive groves around it. The estate produces its own brand of extra virgin olive oil, and the garden is extensive, cultivated with real care by owners who once ran a garden centre on the mainland. The house has been recently renovated and is in excellent condition. It is a large country property, a short distance from Es Canar, where life divides between the indoor rooms and the terrace.
The house and the grounds
The four bedrooms are large and mostly come with en suite bathrooms; every room but one has air conditioning and heating, and several beds convert to double arrangements. They all sit on the ground floor, next to the fully equipped kitchen and several living rooms that lead out to the wide terrace overlooking the garden and the pool, where a dining table seats 12. The swimming pool is large, measuring 19 by 13 metres, and beside it lies a barbecue area with an enormous wooden table for 20, an outdoor kitchen, an open-air gym, a sitting area, a bathroom, the existing chill out zone and a ping pong table. Indoors, next to the kitchen in the main house, a second games room holds a bar, a billiard table, a television and a music system. Television is by satellite and the house is fitted with amplifiers so that the wifi carries strongly despite the thick traditional farmhouse walls.
Sant Carles and Es Canar
The house sits almost at sea level and even so the bedrooms look out to the Mediterranean through the trees. The nearest beaches are Es Canar and Cala Martina, both close by, and Sant Carles keeps the quiet character of the north east of the island. This is a property made for families, groups and small events. It is let as a holiday home with a valid touristic rental licence, furnished and equipped, and the energy certificate is in process.
