This ultramodern villa is for rent in Siesta, a quiet community in Santa Eulària des Riu, standing proud of the hillside with unrestricted 270 degree views over the deep blue Mediterranean and over the port of Santa Eulalia, the second largest marina in Ibiza. It offers 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms across roughly 525 m2 built on a plot of 1,150 m2, air conditioned throughout. The house was completed in 2012 by a German developer, with every appliance, fitting and home automation system installed by German craftsmen, and renovated again in 2019. It rises over 3 floors, including a rooftop terrace with a jacuzzi, and the architecture floods the rooms with light, with real oak parquet in all living areas and high quality tiling elsewhere. An electric gate opens the property and guarantees complete privacy.
Inside and out
The 4 bedrooms each have a double washbasin, bidet and a bath or shower: a master and a VIP bedroom with en suite bathrooms, and 2 guest bedrooms sharing a bathroom. The ground floor adds a fully equipped guest bathroom with bath and shower, along with staff quarters comprising a bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. Fittings in the main bathroom are stainless steel by Dornbracht, the windows are Schuco with electric aluminium shutters, and the switches and sockets are glass framed by Busch-Jaeger. The open kitchen pairs high gloss white lacquer with a black granite worktop and Miele and Gaggenau appliances, while a central osmosis unit guarantees the quality of the drinking water throughout the house. Air conditioning reaches every room and Viessmann hot water underfloor heating runs through the living areas, with a Gira smart home system controlled from iPhone and iPad, a full music library distributed by Sonos and high speed WiFi indoors and across every outdoor area. Outside there are 4 separate terraces: 120 m2 on the ground floor with the pool, 30 m2 on the first floor and an enormous 200 m2 rooftop with the jacuzzi, all of them looking out to the sea, Santa Eulalia and its harbour. The LED lit infinity pool of 66 m2, ringed by 350 m2 of terracing, gives the impression of hanging your feet over the edge of the cliff, and the sun sails on the roof terrace and over the ground floor dining terrace are held firm by stainless steel posts. Santa Eulalia living
Siesta sits a 5 minute drive from the port of Santa Eulalia, 15 minutes from Ibiza Marina and 25 minutes from Ibiza airport. The recommended beaches nearby are Cala Lenya, Cala Olivera, Cala Martina, Cala Nova and Cala Sant Vicent. The north east is arguably the most family minded region of the island: Santa Eulalia, the third largest town in Ibiza, remains a safe family paradise all year round, with a theatre, superb sports facilities, a cinema, a blue flag beach and no end of shops, restaurants and gyms. Popular with British, Dutch and German visitors, its main square runs down from the town hall to the seafront with pretty fountains along the way. Further north, the picturesque village of San Carlos holds the famous Las Dalias hippy market with hundreds of stalls to browse, and the coast strings together countless beaches suited to families. The villa is let as a seasonal holiday rental, fully furnished with ultramodern Benz pieces and covered by a touristic rental licence, with the energy certificate in progress.
