Can Melanie is a charming traditional rustic house for rent on a hillside beside the delightful village of San Agustín, in the municipality of Sant Josep de sa Talaia, close to the beautiful west coast and its most sought after sunset beaches. It is a genuine Ibizan style country house with many contemporary touches spread throughout. There are 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms between the main house and the grounds, a layout made for groups who want to be together without losing their privacy. The interiors are a timeless mix of terracotta tiled floors, white walls and traditional wood beamed ceilings, blended with touches of modern minimalism and luxurious high specification furniture. The house makes an ideal base for exploring the beautiful beaches of Cala Bassa and Cala Conta.
Casitas and living space
A sociable kitchen offers a sunny breakfast table that leads directly into one of the indoor dining spaces. The large, welcoming lounge has direct access to the outdoor pool terrace, so life moves from inside to outside without a break. Three of the bedrooms, all equally well equipped, are in the main house, while the additional guest accommodation is spread across three separate casitas in the grounds, each with two single beds, an en suite bathroom and access to its own terrace. That arrangement gives every group its own door and its own rhythm, with the main house as the meeting point.
Terraces and Ibizan sky
The private L shaped pool can be enjoyed from the terraces or from the luxurious wooden deck. There is a wide terrace with an outdoor dining table shaded by a traditional wood beamed roof, and the gardens offer further outdoor seating areas and a wooden pergola with a second outdoor dining area. Every evening brings the spectacular view of the world famous Ibizan sky, which is a good part of what makes this holiday house so desirable. It is offered as a seasonal holiday rental, furnished and equipped, under a touristic licence. The energy certificate is in progress.
