Villa Escondida is a luxury villa for rent on a quiet hillside in Sant Josep de sa Talaia, south-facing and looking out over Salinas to the sea and across to Formentera. Set high in pine-covered hills, it has complete privacy and sun all day, and yet Ibiza town is very close. The house has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, is impeccably presented and comes luxuriously furnished and equipped. It is romantic and secluded, made for people who want to be out of the way without being far from anything.
Pool and jacuzzi
All three bedrooms are doubles, each with a sea view, a shower room, air conditioning and its own doors to the terrace. Outside, an inviting 11 metre infinity pool is served by two raised sun loungers and floating bean bags, with a separately heated sunken tiled jacuzzi alongside. The large south-facing terraces hold comfortable loungers, a covered chill out seating area and two covered dining areas, one with a new gas barbecue. The roof terrace, with two luxurious canopied double day beds, carries the most sumptuous views in the whole San José area.
Salinas and San José
The villa is 6 km from Ibiza old town and about 10 minutes by car or taxi from the beaches at Salinas and Cala Jondal, with Es Torrent close by. The village of San José and the airport are equally easy to reach, so the house pairs mountain quiet with short journeys. It is let furnished and equipped, with a touristic rental licence. Its energy performance certificate is in progress.
