Villa Paola above Cala Jondal
Villa Paola is a modern villa for rent in Sant Josep, in the municipality of Sant Josep de sa Talaia, with 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and an elevated outlook over open countryside a short distance from Cala Jondal beach. Extensive grounds and carefully kept gardens surround the house, held by a stone wall and a fully fenced plot. Living areas and bedrooms are laid out across several levels, so every room takes a slightly different reading of the landscape. Coming in, the open fully equipped kitchen leads naturally into a generous sitting room of deep sofas and on to a warm dining room. Floor to ceiling windows fill the house with daylight and frame sea views that stay with you.
Interiors and terraces
All 5 bedrooms are doubles, dressed in the same elegant register as the rest of the house and furnished with pieces of the latest generation. Each has an en suite bathroom, and the master suite adds its own bathtub, a large terrace and panoramic views from the upper level of the villa. A private gym is also available to guests. Outside, terraces step across different levels, some chill out areas in full sun and others in shade. The infinity pool is the centre of the day, ringed by sun loungers and four canopied day beds.
Living at Cala Jondal
Cala Jondal is one of the most admired coves in the south of Ibiza and home to the well known Blue Marlin Beach Club, a short distance from the house. The surroundings are open countryside, with the elevated view as the main event and a great deal of discretion on every side. The Mediterranean gardens are dense and fragrant, ending in a Balinese mirador designed with outdoor dining in mind. The villa is offered as a holiday rental and holds a touristic rental licence; the energy certificate is in process. It comes fully furnished and equipped, in excellent condition.
