A holiday villa to rent in the quiet pine covered hills near Sant Antoni de Portmany, high enough to command spectacular sea views and the sunsets the west coast is known for. The house is a 500 year old finca restored to a high standard, with every modern comfort but a decidedly rustic, homely and creative character: Balinese fittings, tiles, artwork, unusual artefacts and beautiful timber beams. There are 5 double bedrooms, 3 of them en suite, and 4 bathrooms in total, with room for up to ten people in families or groups. Condition throughout is excellent.
Grounds and pool
The grounds run to some 50,000 m2 and offer no end of places to stop and look: a very large pool, several unhurried outdoor dining areas and a Mediterranean garden with a vegetable plot, all enjoyed in the complete privacy of a plot with no neighbours in sight. For the safety of small children the pool can be fenced on request. The master bedroom takes the upper floor and adds a private 100 m2 terrace with the best sea views on the whole plot, which is part of why the house is asked for so often as a wedding setting.
Cala Salada and Sant Antoni
The nearest beach is the beautiful Cala Salada, only 5 minutes away by car, while Sant Antoni de Portmany, with its shops, clubs and famous sunset cafés, is about 10 minutes. Savasana is not far from the action, but its secluded position makes a car essential. It is let furnished and equipped, with a touristic rental licence; the energy certificate is in process.
