Cala Bassa Beach Club sits on one of the west coast's most popular sandy bays and has run as a full beach club for decades. Sunbeds and umbrellas cover much of the sand with a restaurant and bar serving through the day. The bay itself is wide and shallow which makes it one of the more reliable swimming spots on this side of the island even when boats fill the water further out. Families and groups both find space here even at the height of summer. A regular boat service connects Cala Bassa with San Antonio for visitors without their own transport. The beach club atmosphere is relaxed by day and builds toward music and drinks as the afternoon moves into evening. Booking a sunbed ahead is worth doing through July and August when the beach fills early.
