Cala Escondida is a small hidden cove near Cala Comte reached by a short walk down from the road. Its size and limited access keep it far quieter than the well known beaches nearby. There are no facilities here so visitors need to bring their own water shade and something to sit on. The reward for the walk is a genuinely peaceful swim away from the crowds that gather at Cala Comte itself. Rocks at either end of the cove offer decent snorkelling for anyone willing to explore a little further from the sand. Sunset views here rival the more famous spots nearby without any of the crowds. For residents who already know this stretch of coast well Cala Escondida is the answer whenever the main beaches feel too busy.
