Aubergine by Atzaró brings the wider Atzaró group's style of relaxed luxury to the countryside near Sant Miquel. The restaurant sits among gardens rather than facing the sea which gives it a different feel from most of the island's well known lunch spots. The menu leans toward vegetables and Mediterranean flavours with much of the produce grown close to the restaurant itself. Dishes change through the season depending on what the surrounding gardens are producing at the time. Tables are set among greenery with plenty of shade which makes lunch here comfortable even at the height of summer. Service moves at the same relaxed pace as the setting rather than rushing guests through a meal. Book ahead through July and August since tables fill quickly and the restaurant does not take walk ins during the busiest weeks of the year.
